22.05.2003 - A TURBAIR® vacuum system consists in principle of the following individual components:
- multistage centrifugal blower with up to four different vacuum levels, used mainly for pulp dewatering in the wire and press section.
- single-stage centrifugal blower, used mainly for conditioning the felts in the press section.
- water separators, which separate the process water from the evacuated air and return it to the stock preparation.
- automatic control system, ensuring reliable operation of the blowers and fault-free production.
- heat exchangers and sound absorbers recover the compression energy and dampen the noise level of the blowers.
